SIPOREX CARVING again the Master has to say something very intersting about this Art Form.
This Art Form was first practiced in the West in Europe ,UK and USA as the term SIPOREX is a brand name for AEC Blocks or Fly Ash Blocks which were developed as a Eco friendly and light weight construction material replacing the conventional fired bricks which are commonly used for constructing homes and structures.
So this form of Art was first practiced in Mumbai (India) by some Sculptors and Artists around 1990.
Very few Sculptors and Artists were practising this art as the media used for carving or sculpting was a very soft, porous and light weight media and was easy to carve with simple wood carving tools or even chisels and knifes. It could be sanded sawed and cut in various shapes.
Murals created in this type were carved blocks pasted on walls with cement mortar,finished and painted.
So till then this art form was only limited to a group of sculptors and Artists or Craftsmen who were good at stone carving techniques.
Now the Master had to think for the mass ....so many Hobby Artists, Art Lovers, Students of various feilds who were interested in learning art and even House wives who had passion towards Artand wanted to learn some form of Art,practise it with some guidance and decorate their own homes or gift some art peices to friends,relatives or just practise for leisure. Many Hobby Teachers also were interested to learn this Art Form...SIPOREX CARVING...which is also wrongly pronounced as C4X Art, Shiporex Art.
Mural Guru Bharat Rawal developed this tedious Art Form into a very easy way,with very simple tools and sculpting techniques keeping in mind the masses who wanted to learn this Art Form.
So now Mural Guru Bharat Rawal has to his credit thousands of students all over India who have practiced and mastered this Media and have being doing many good creations in the form of 3D SIPOREX MURALS.
